As local media reports today, the revised project for a ring railroad construction was approved yesterday by President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev. Works on the construction site will begin in the near future. A double track mainline will pass through the outside of the Tashkent Ring Road.

Builders have to construct a number of railway bridges and road junctions, hundreds of underground and overground pedestrian crossings. The ring road’s stations will be connected by pedestrian crossings with end metro stations.
