Village of Smurfs, characters from the famous cartoon, will be recreated in “Island of Dream” amusement park, which is scheduled to open in 2018 in the Nagatinskaya floodplain located in south of Moscow, according to the project developer, Regions state company.
“The “Village of Smurfs” thematic area implies an exact reproduction of the space in accordance to that in a famous cartoon – a village of Smurfs will be recreated life-size with flower gardens, winding paths, houses-mushrooms of the main characters and themed attractions,” – the press release reads.
In addition to homes of the animated characters, the village will house five themed attractions, a brand restaurant and gift shop, according to the message.
