Chinese-Russian agro-industrial complex with an area of more than 50 hectares is planned to be put in operation in 2018 in the village of Loginovo located in the Sverdlovsk region, Russia, the Consul General of China in Yekaterinburg Geng Liping told TASS news agency today.




About it in interview to the correspondent of TASS said the Consul General of China in Yekaterinburg Geng Liping.

“China, jointly with the Sverdlovsk region will launch next year an agricultural and industrial complex worth 62.5 million yuan (about 500 million roubles – editor’s note)” she said.

Previously, it was reported that various vegetables, herbs and fruits, including citrus, would be produced at the facility. The production volume is expected to meet the needs of the city of Yekaterinburg, as well as to ensure export to China.
