Russian State Expert Evaluation Department has completed its consideration of a project for the construction of a new radar complex, “Lira-A10” at Sheremetyevo international airport in Moscow, the Department’s press office informs on Thursday.
“New Lira-A10 radar station will improve the reliability of the devices ensuring air traffic control in the Sheremetyevo airport area, and will increase the accuracy characteristics of the information supplied directly to a control zone of the Sheremetevsky air traffic service center,” – General Director of State Corporation for OrVD, Igor Moiseyenko, said.
As specified, the installation of modern equipment for radio-technical flights support at Sheremetyevo international airport is being implemented within the framework of construction and reconstruction of the airport infrastructure for 2018 World Cup.
