The city authorities of Moscow have agreed a project for the construction of a Center for Extreme Sports located on Stavropolskaya Street, near Kuzminki park.
As Construction.RU was told today by the press office of the Moscow City Architecture Committee, it will be a modern building with 6 storeys and with an area of 4230 square meters.
A wind tunnel with the height of 20 meters and the diameter of 7,5 meters will be installed there for the purpose of training parachute-jumpers. A swimming pool with artificial waves is planned to be mounted for surf-board riding.
In future, the facility will be capable to host world wind tunnel championship.
The Center will also house a gym and a café.
