China Railway International Group, a railway corporation based in China, plans to build a bridge within the framework of the “Primorye-1” international transport corridor (ITC), as well as several sections of a road running from Pogranichny to Vostochny port.
Also, the company will modernize some railway stations in the region.
This statement was made by the regional administration following a meeting between a Deputy Head of the Primorye territory, Yevgeny Polyansky, and a Vice President of the company, Lijie Wang.
The Chinese company has already examined roads of the region and currently is selecting the optimal model to make investments in these projects. In addition, Chinese businessmen are interested in building ports and modernization of railways in Primorye.
As a reference, the Primorye territory with population amounting to 1,956,497 now is the largest economy in the Russian Far East.
