Tour operators reported a 15-percent increase in prices for accommodation in Sochi in the summer season of 2017, Interfax wrote on Tuesday.
So, TUI Russia tour operator announced an increase in prices by 15% in the summer season in Sochi. Coral Travel operator told about the growth of prices by 10-15%, while Multitur tour operator noted a price hike in the range of 7-12%.
“The lowest price increase is observed at the sites of the higher level accommodation and it amounts to about 5%. Mid-level hotels of 4 stars raised the price within 10%. The highest growth accounts for the sites of a three-star category, where the growth is about 15% compared to last summer,” — ALEAN national tour operator explained.
