Wintershall Noordzee B. V. (WINZ), 50% of which belongs to Russian Gazprom corporation, for the first time began to produce oil in the Danish sector of the North Sea, the company said.

According to the message, oil production from the Ravn field (block 5/06) located at a depth of approximately 4,000 meters has been carried out from the recently installed platforms in the Danish sector of the North Sea, approximately 300 kilometers northward of the Dutch town of Den Helder.

It is noted that raw material is transported via a marine pipeline to a distance of 18 kilometers from A6-A platform owned by Wintershall, from where oil is transported via the existing export network to the Netherlands.
