In February 2017, the growth of housing prices in London was only 0.1% compared to January and 1.5% in annual terms, having become the lowest since April 2012, according to a joint research of Acadata company and LSL Property Services Plc real estate agency.

The report displays the continuation of the earlier trends for the reduction of the cost of expensive real estate and the growth of prices for mass housing. So, the cost of housing in 11 most prestigious areas of the British capital fell compared to January by 0.5%, while prices in 11 most available areas rose by 0.4%.

In the most fashionable districts of the capital, like Chelsea and Kensington, where the average house price exceeds £2m, housing prices dropped by 2.6%.
