CIS countries plan to reach an agreement on consistent standards in the construction, according to Dmitry Mikheyev, director of FTsS federal autonomous entity, which is a basic organization of CIS member states for technical regulation issues in the construction industry.
“In recent years, a significant divergence in a practice of standardization in the construction have been observed in the CIS. At a certain point, this creates barriers to economic cooperation,” Dmitry Mikheyev said on Thursday.
He explained that it was to discuss solutions to the problem that this organization had been created for. He also stressed that that activity should not conflict with interests of each of the CIS member state.
