Japan is interested in the participation in joint projects of hydrocarbons deep processing, the head of the Energy Ministry of Russia, Alexander Novak, announced on Friday following the talks with Japanese companies held over the course of his visit to Tokyo.
According to the Energy Minister, Japanese companies are also interested in the development of cooperation in the field of electricity and construction of renewable energy sources.
Alexander Novak held negotiations on energy with the heads of a total of 30 Japanese companies, including Marubeni, Mitsui and Mitsubishi.
Over the course of the meeting, the parties discussed international projects and mechanisms of attracting Japanese businesses and investment in Russia.
