The Russian authorities propose to Switzerland to reach a deal in cooperation in the field of customs, according to the first deputy director of Russia’s Federal Customs Service, Ruslan Davydov.
As he told TASS news agency on April 22, both countries still have not concluded an agreement on collaboration in customs. Having carried out the corresponding negotiations, the parties agreed to hold a meeting to discuss the framework of the agreement.
This statement Ruslan Davydov made at a conference of the World Customs Organization, which took place in Vienna on April 19-21. The event was attended by representatives of 51 nations and the EU. Russia has become a member of WCO in 1992.
