In the Primorsky Region the Chinese company, Wen Lian Aquaculture, will construct various aquacultural objects in important developments on Russky Island.
Construction.ru reported today via the press service that the region's prospects for joint cooperation were discussed by the vice-governor of the region, Sergei Nekhaev, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Wen Lian Aquaculture Company, Qiu Latch Zhu. The concept of creating an advanced complex on Russky Island assumes, among other things, the development of the coastal water areas. The Chinese investor has declared his intention to participate in the realization of the project of the BioTechno Park as a part of an area of priority development and to invest 15 billion rubles in it over five years. The Chinese have been working in Russia for 4 years and plan to cultivate seafood on the island, including whitebait. The company expects to become the first resident of the new development. The vice governor also suggested that the Chinese partners participate in the construction of the integrated entertainment and tourism zone in the free port of Vladivostok, which is necessary to stimulate the development of tourism in the region. The region is now conducting negotiations with several potential investors on the construction of a quay together with a marina, where zones for tourists – shopping, restaurants – would also be located.
