On July 28 a falling joist killed a worker of a wood construction materials plant in Kansk (Krasnoyarsk region).
As Construction.ru was told by the regional Investigation Committee, the victim worked as a sling operator and was unloading wood with the help of trestle crane. For unknown yet reason the beam of the unloader broke off, and the worker was fatally injured.
An inspection has been started. Investigators are studying the case and looking for the reasons of the accident.
