One of the leading world providers of metal structure and construction decisions, the Finnish company Ruukki has built an engineering building of a large regional plant – JSC “Ufimkabel”
As the company press office told Construction.ru, the project is aimed at the removal of the plant’s capacities from the center of the city to a new place in the Dema river valley.
The best innovative materials were used during the construction of the plant unit. The area of delivered wall panels totals 3,878 m2, the total area of profiled flooring ??-18 – 500 m2. All in all, 1,135 tons of metal structures were used in the plant unit's construction.
It is worth mentioning, that the area of the construction membrane (14,881 m2) – a modern super-thin polymer material guarding construction structures against humidity, vapor and wind – does not coincide with the total building area (16,150 m2). The reason is the presence of translucent segments in the roof, which make the project more complicated but add lightness to the whole structure.
With the project having been completed, the building was put in operation in August, 2015.
