Over the course of six months, Russian Construction Ministry will have to prepare amendments to legislation in order to introduce a unitary standard of management of multi-apartment houses.
The corresponding assignment has been given to the Russian Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities by President Vladimir Putin at a meeting of the head of the state with the government members held on Wednesday.
This information was conveyed to reporters by the Construction Minister, Mikhail Menn, following the meeting. He specified that after making the amendments, the law would clearly determine the time period of the authorities’ response to resorts of citizens, as well as standards of inspection of conditions of communal equipment.
In case the Parliament adopts the amendments, these standards will be implemented within the framework of a priority project until the end of the year.
