Rosatom intends to invest 83 bln roubles into the construction of 26 wind farms on the territory of Russia in 2018 – 2020, Kommersant reports.
The newspaper specifies that the facilities’ total capacity will amount to 610 MW. In 2018 the company is to put into operation first three wind farms, in 2019 – ten and in 2020 – thirteen more.
It will be only Rosatom’s enterprises that will manufacture the equipment for the new wind farms. At present, VetroOGK, the company, which is a part of Rosatom corporation, has submitted an order to the “Trade System’s Administrator” for the wind farms creation and the search of potential partners in the field of turbines’ production.
Foreign manufacturers ready for the production localization in Russia also have a possibility to take part in the tender.
