Contractors competition for the construction of the North-Eastern chord from Shchelkovskoye highway to Otkrytoye highway is announced in Moscow.
The tender conditions are published on the state procurement website. In particular, it is said that the initial (maximal) cost of the contract is 12.463 bln roubles. The claims for the participation in the tender will be received until August 9th.
The consideration of the claims will take place on August 16th.
To remind you, the North-Eastern chord (Northern “belt” road) – is a radial direction which is to connect the Moscow – Saint-Petersburg and the Moscow – Nizhny Novgorod main routes.
The major highway will allow to organize the traffic from the north to the east of Moscow without getting to the center of the city. The work on the construction site of the Northern “belt” road is to be completed by 2019.
