The first toll bridge needs to be constructed across the Pur River in the Yamal-Nenets autonomous district of northwest Siberia, Russia, the press office of the regional government told Construction.RU on Thursday.
New bridge will ensure a permanent traffic flow to Urengoy and Korotchaevo villages. At present, only a snow road and a pontoon ferry are operating there, however these facilities don’t keep up in the period between seasons.
The passage is planned to be constructed within the framework of a concession agreement. A total amount of investments into the project, a bridge with a two-lane traffic movement and with the length of 1,2 km, is estimated at over 6 bln roubles.
Construction of the bridge is scheduled to be completed until the year 2019. When the object is put into operation, the passage will be toll for everyone, except for resident of Purovsky and Krasnoselkupsky regions.
