Tolmachyovo airport announces tender for terminal reconstruction

Tolmachyovo airport located in the Russian city of Novosibirsk, in Siberia, announced a tender for the selection of a designer to carry out reconstruction of the terminal complex, as it follows from documentation published on the procurement website.




The contract value amounts to 145 million rubles ($2,5 million), funds are allocated from customer’s own means. The procurement is carried out by way of open competitive negotiations. Applications for participation in the tender are accepted until the 11th of May, while the results will be summarized on the 19th of May.

The deadline for all reconstruction activities established until the 15th of May, 2018, and the whole process is divided into a number of stages.

The total cost of reconstruction is not specified, the works under the first phase are estimated at 1.8 billion rubles. As a result of reconstruction the total area of terminals will increase from 53,000 to 95,000 square meters.

Tolmachevo airport is among the ten largest in Russia in terms of a passenger traffic. In 2016, the airport passenger traffic increased 10.6% compared to 2015, up to 4,097 million. In 2017 it is planned to serve more than 4.7 million people — 14.6% more than in 2016.
