New plants in SEZ “Alabuga” for 12.6 bln rubles

The government of Tatarstan has adopted projects for potential residents of the “Alabuga” Special Economic Zone totaling 12.6 bln rubles.




As the regional press office told Construction.ru, one of the investors will build a plant producing maleic anhydride, a primary material for epoxide resins production.
The project investment volume is estimated at 10 bln rubles. The planned number of employees is over 150 people. The plant’s opening has been scheduled for the 2nd quarter of 2018.
Another project will provide for the production of paving slabs, concrete blocks, and screening-and-crushing machines with a capacity of 10-15 lines a year. The investment volume is planned to be as much as 160m rubles. The plant will be put in operation in 2017.
A company from Tatarstan is planning to construct and launch a factory producing champignons with a capacity of 5,600 tons a year. 144 jobs will be created. The launch is to be in 2017.
