As part of the preparations for the 2018 Football World Cup, 16 objects have already been built, and 181 more are being constructed.




The head of the ‘Russia – 2018’ organizational committee, Vitaly Mutko, talked about this in his interview with ‘R-Sports’. According to him, the work at three airport construction sites (‘Pulkovo’ in Saint-Petersburg, ‘Kurumoch’ in Samara and ‘Koltsovo’ in Ekaterinburg), as well as at the ‘Spartak’ (Moscow), ‘Kazan Arena’ and ‘Uralmash’ (Ekaterinburg) stadiums are completed.

The final location will be used as a training base. 181 objects are still to be created, including 10 stadiums and 62 football fields.

To remind you, the Football World Championship will take place from June 14th till July 15th, 2018, in 12 stadiums in 11 cities of Russia: Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Kazan, Volgograd, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Saransk, Ekaterinburg, Rostov-on-Don and Sochi.
