JSC Gazprom is to pay about 1.5 trn rubles to the RF at all levels, including 100 bln rubles of additional tax for raw material mining (the mineral extraction tax - MET).
The Deputy Chair of the Board of the gas monopolist, Andrei Kruglov, talked about this in his interview with the corporate edition. According to him, the figure is 15% higher than last year.
Tax liabilities will grow at the expense of the moderate growth of MET rates, and property tax concerning main pipelines and electric power lines (connected with the rate of growth from 0.7% in 2014 to 1% in 2015).
Of course, this was influenced by the amendment of the Tax Code. According to this, excise tax for the gas delivered by the Blue Stream main to Turkey was increased from January 1st, 2015.
