Gazprom Energy Holding expects to determine within two weeks the capacity of a thermal power plant in Pancevo, the city located in the Serbian Province of Vojvodina, and then to begin its construction.
This is what the head of the company, Denis Fyodorov, said at a press conference.
“Particular choice of the equipment is still being negotiated. Yesterday I met with representatives of Siemens and Metka, the Greek company that has won a tender for construction of the power plant. A final decision on the plant’s capacity is due to be made. I think it will be over in a week or two and Metka will proceed with the construction”, Fyodorov noted.
