Abdusamad Gamidov, Chairman of the Dagestan Republic situated in the Russian North Caucasus has inspected a construction site of a future Olympic Center.
As Construction.RU was told by the press office of the republican government, the facility is being built on the premises of the existing sports object in Makhachkala, the capital city of Dagestan, on the shore of the Caspian Sea.
This facility is urgently needed, since the Republic’s national teams in wrestling, judo, Greco-Roman wrestling, and boxing do not have an opportunity for proper trainings. Athletes of different martial arts will be able to train simultaneously there.
In addition, a youth sports school will be established on the premises of the object. All construction work is scheduled to be completed by the end of this year.
