Engineers are checking the integrity of a residential building in Central London in which a fire broke out this night, Rambler News reports with reference to a statement of the city’s fire-fighting service official.
According to him, a design engineer is checking stability of the buildingю. The estimates show that, at the moment, the building remains safe for fire brigades to enter and work there. He also added that until that moment, firefighters had managed to get to the 19th and 20th floors of the high-rise block apartment.
As a result of the fire in a high-rise apartment block, at least 50 people were injured, deaths have also been confirmed. Over 250 firefighters have been dealing with the fire through the night.
