President Vladimir Putin has demanded to close a landfill in Balashikha, about which a participant of the Direct Line complained a local resident, TASS reports on Thursday.
This statement was made by the head of the state at a meeting with the Cabinet members after a report was made by the Minister of Natural Resources, Sergey Donskoy.
Mr. Putin called on Governor of Moscow region Andrei Vorobyov to close a notorious landfill. “The documents that have to be prepared... must be prepared in the shortest possible time”, the President added.
Vladimir Putin also instructed Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev to get a handle on the matter.
