On July 10, construction of a pharmaceutical plant of the German company Bionorica will be launched near the Russian city of Voronezh.




The facility is planned to be built in the territory of Maslovsky industrial park. As local media reports on Tuesday, a groundbreaking ceremony will be held next week at the plant’s construction site.

At present, the volume of investment in the project is estimated at about 4 billion – 4,5 billion rubles ($67 million - $76 million) against 2,5 billion rubles ($42 million) as reported previously. Initially, the plant will produce 120 million blister packs per year, and by 2020, the facility will reach the production capacity of 200 million blister packs per year.

The pharmaceutical plant is scheduled to be put in operation in 2018.
