Heavy woods fires in the east of the American state of California destroyed at least 45 residential houses, Interfax realty reports with reference to local media.
Dozens non-residential buildings are damaged with fire. More than 5,000 people had to leave their houses located in the vicinity of the Yosemite National Park which is an object of UNESCO Global Heritage.
More than 3,000 firemen are struggling against the fire which have destroyed 20,000 hectares of the forest for several days.
Earlier this week, California Governor, Jerry Brown, announced the state of emergency there because of woods fires.
