Since the beginning of this year, thirty accidents have been registered at Moscow construction sites, Anatoly Kravchuk, Deputy Head of the Moscow Committee for State Construction Supervision, told media on Friday.
“Over the past five months of 2018, 26 heavy and deadly accidents occurred at Moscow's construction sites, with 13 people died and 17 people severely injured”, Kravchuk said.
Meanwhile, the official has indicated a trend of reducing the number of accidents at construction sites compared to the same period last year. And yet, according to the Moscow Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, construction activities account for about 40% of all accidents in Moscow.
