The tender has been announced in the Kaluga region to build a road around Kaluga City with a bridge through Oka. The starting price for the government contract is 10.5 billion rubles.
The length of the road must be 21 kilometers, as reported on the site of government purchases today. As well as the road, it will be necessary to build a bridge in Oka, eight overpasses and four two-level road crossings. On the completion of construction, the general contractor has to give quality assurances for the works for a period of 10 years, and for the bypass roads and the bridge with overpasses for a period of 8 years. Applications for participation in the competition are being accepted until May 7th and the winner of the tender will be announced on May 25th. Work must be completed before September 30th, 2017. Financing will be carried out by means of the federal budget.
