A modern plant for the production of glued and laminated timber by use of German technology is planned to be constructed in Monotown Luza in the Kirov region
As the regional press office reported to Construction.ru, a local investor plans to put up 437m rubles for the construction and equipping of the plant. It will include a sawmill with a capacity of up to 200,000 m3 a year, glued laminated timber and wooden housing elements production of up to 17,000 m3 a year, and the production of 73,000 m3 of lumber and chip fuel a year.
The terms of the project implementation are 2015-2018. 198 new high-tech jobs will be created at the plant. By order of the Ministry of Trade and Industry of the RF, the project is included in the list of priority investment projects in the sphere of forest exploitation.
