“Hua Ren” GC has rejected the idea of constructing a 4-star Hilton hotel at Tallinnskaya Street 11 in Saint Petersburg in favor of constructing apartments and offices.

 




As “Business Petersburg” reports, there is now the “Beijing Garden” hotel, with 42 apartments, and the chief offices of “Hua Ren” on the lot, which as an area of 0.58 hectares.

The project’s concept was fundamentaly changed under a suggestion from the CPR consul-general in Saint Petersburg.  A Russian-Chinese center for public, business and cultural activity will now be built there.  

The new project includes two symmetrical buildings with a total area of 20,000 m2. There will be a Russian-Chinese cultural and business center with a restaurant and negotiation hall in one of them. The other building will be an apartment hotel with 190 apartments. Under the building there will be parking for 68 cars. The project is assessed as costing 1 bln rubles.

Preparation works at the construction site have already started.
