An educational/cultural center, “Perimeter”, is planned to be built in the capital of Dagestan, Makhachkala, for 1.5 bln rub.
The republican press office has told Construction.ru about this. They explained that its final concept will be determined as the result of the international “Educational environment of the future” master-class.
It will be held by the “PERI” foundation and the “MARSH Lab” architectural initiatives center. A unique workshop, “Educational environment of the future”, will take place from the 1st to 10th of February, and 25 young architects from different countries will take part in it.
Under the supervision of their experienced colleagues they will develop six or eight original architectural concepts for the “Perimeter” center. They must include a school for social project management, a creative technologies center and a robotics lab. The building itself must be comfortable and multifunctional, and modern world architectural trends and the architectural traditions of Dagestan are to be present in its look and spaces.
