Representatives from the Japanese hotel operator “Toyoko Inn” and the Russian “Khabarovsk airport” JSC have signed a memorandum on the construction of a hotel and business complex.
As Construction.ru was told by the regional press office, the event followed negotiations which both parties had conducted within the framework of the forum entitled “Commercial and Industrial Dialogue: Russia-Japan”.
The project will be implemented by the joint enterprise, which will include a Japanese investment company, a financial institution and the operator of the terminal infrastructure.
The work at the construction site is scheduled to start at the end of 2016 / the beginning of 2017. The investment will be 8.25 bln roubles.
As a result, a modern passenger terminal building, covering 54,000 m2, will be erected. It will be capable of dealing with up to 4.5 mln passengers per year. Besides this, exhibition, hotel and entertainment complexes will be built.
