JSC “Russian Railways” has invited investors from Japan to cooperate in the construction of a high-speed network in Russia.
As the head of the Russian Railways, Oleg Belozerov, said at the forum, entitled “The Industrial and Commercial Dialogue: Russia-Japan”, Russia is especially interested in Japanese investments in transport infrastructure in the Far East.
JSC “Russian Railways” is offering its potential partners the chance to invest in the infrastructure development of the international transport corridors - for example, in distri-ports around Moscow.
Besides this, the Japanese companies could take part in the construction of a high-speed network. Mr Belozerov reminded those present that in the near future JSC “Russian Railways” will build over 4 thousand km of high-speed network from Moscow to Kazan, and then to Saint Petersburg and Adler.
