The Fund for Far East Development will invest 1 bln roubles in the construction of a real estate and IT park in Yakutsk.




This is what RIA Novosti reported on the 23rd of March, citing the head of the Fund, Alexey Chekunkov. According to him, the agreement to create an IT park will be signed this Friday with the head of Yakutia, Egor Borisov.

The deal will establish a legal base for the project, aimed at tourism, real estate, social infrastructure and new technologies. As a result, an object of 20,000 m2 will be erected in the capital of the republic.

The start-up offices of the Yakutia government, a data center for scores of employees working in IT companies in Yakutsk, and a modern hotel will be located there. The firms working in this park will have their taxation rate subsidized by the regional government.

The project is estimated at 2 bln roubles. All work at the construction site is scheduled to be completed within 2.5 years, said Alexey Chekunkov.
