Investors from China are considering the option of building a cement facility in the town of Sibay, situated in the Republic of Bashkortostan. The projected capacity of the facility is 2 m tons per year. Apart from the plant, the Chinese investors plan to erect an industrial park in the same neighborhood.
As the republican press office told Construction.ru, this was the aim of the Chinese delegation’s visit to the region.
During a meeting with the head of Bashkiria, Rustem Khamitov, the delegates discussed the implementation of joint investment projects in the republic. The president of the Sichuan Association for Russia and CIS, and director general of the Chinese “Silin” Import and Export Corporation, Tzen Aygo, asked for preferential terms for these projects.
All construction work might be completed in half a year.
The head of Bashkiria, in his turn, assured the Chinese investors that the republic authorities will render help with the projects’ implementation, in part by lifting all administrative barriers.
