The “Agency for Mortgage Housing Credit”, AIZhK JSC, has selected a designer for the concept of Russia’s first guest house. The concept for this unique project is planned to be presented in summer 2016, the Agency’s press office told Construction.RU.
Following a public tender, the winner was the Russian-German design bureau, BRT RUS, which is a joint enterprise between the Russian INTECO company and the German architectural bureau BRT Architekten.
The concept will focus on guest house construction, but in a contemporary manner. The document will be presented as early as this summer. The building will offer all the necessary infrastructure – a pram storage room, a reception, a guard room etc.
One-room apartments with an area of no more than 30 m2 and two-room apartments of 40 m2 are envisaged for future tenants.
Subsequently, the concept will be exploited at the realization of AIZhK’s projects on rental housing construction with the participation of pooled investment.
