On the 16th of June, at the St Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities of Russia, Mikhail Menn, and Chairman of the Executive Board of Sberbank, Herman Gref, have signed an agreement on strategic cooperation.
The subject of the agreement is implementation and financing of the projects within the framework of the Russian state program entitled “Provision of Affordable and Comfort Housing and Public Utility Services for Russian Citizens”, the Ministry's press office told Construction.RU.
In particular, the matter concerned housing construction, utilities service and purchases for public use, projects involving the mechanisms of state guarantees, as well as bank servicing of the Construction Ministry of Russia and the organizations operating under its jurisdiction.
“I'm sure that having such strategic partner as Sberbank, will contribute to provision the citizens with modern and affordable housing, as well as to problem-solving in the utilities service industry of Russia”, - noted Mikhail Menn following the signing ceremony.
