Delegation of businessmen from Japan headed for the Russian city of Volgograd within the program of strengthening of cooperation with Russia in the utility and housing sector. The trip was organized with the assistance of the Russian Construction Ministry.
As the Ministry’s press office told Construction.RU on Tuesday, on the part of Russia, the project implementation will be supervised by a Deputy Minister of Construction, Utilities and Housing, Andrey Chibis.
The goal of a business mission is to search for potential partnership projects and to present advanced technological solutions.
The Japanese delegation includes top managers of eight large national corporations, as well as representatives of research institutions. Over the course of a two-day visit to Volgograd, the Japanese have already visited a number of public-service objects, both successfully operating projects within bilateral concession agreements and perspective investment ones.
Moreover, the Japanese delegates presented the most advanced technologies in the utility and housing sector, which could be applied in Russian cities.
