BRICS New Development Bank might participate in financing of the Moscow-Kazan High-Speed Railway and is ready to consider such a proposal from JSC Russian Railways.
The Russian railways have already addressed a proposal to fund the high-speed railway to the Bank, RIA Novosti reports on Thursday.
Management of BRICS New Development Bank intends to consider this proposal, however, the decision on financing hasn’t been made yet, since the bank hasn’t received a detailed information on the project.
Besides of that, such major project will require involvement of other investors as well.
We should remind you that the Moscow-Kazan High-Speed Railway worth about 1 trl roubles will connect to large Russian cities and will have a length of 770 km.
