In the year 2016, a volume of investments in commercial real estate in Europe dropped by 10%, down to 251,1 billion euro, the message released by CBRE company.
At the same time, in the fourth quarter of 2016, a record volume of investments, 86,8 billion euro, was registered.
“This is 5% more than the rate of the fourth quarter of 2015, when the previous record on investment volume was set,” the press release says.
The most active market was a German one, which annual investment turnover exceeded the mark of 50 billion euro. Over 13,5 billion euro have been invested in the Netherlands, what exceeded the previous record of 2007.
