Gazprom has completed the preparatory work on a project of Turkish Stream gas pipeline and is ready to start laying pipe within the next several days, Chairman of the Russian gas holding, Alexey Miller, said.
“In particular, the matter concerns Turkish Stream project. In the current period of time, we have completed all the preparatory and mobilization activities. And I inform you about the readiness to start the laying of a marine section of the Turkish Stream gas pipeline within a few days,” – Alexey Miller said at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
As previously reported, Allseas, a company based in Switzerland, will be engaged in the laying of the first string of the Turkish Stream gas pipeline this summer.
