The Chinese contractor will start construction of a southwestern section of the Third Interchange Circuit of Moscow metro, a so-called Second Ring, in the second half of 2017, the head of the Moscow Construction Department, Andrey Bochkarev, told reporters on Tuesday.
“As early as the second half of the year, the Chinese construction corporation, which is a contractor, will proceed with the building of a southwestern section of the Third Interchange Circuit with the length of about 3,6 km”, - Bochkarev said.
He noted that the Chinese contractor would build three stations in this area – Aminyevskoe Shosse, Michurinsky Prospekt and Prospekt Vernadskogo.
“I’d like to emphasize that the Chinese contractor would complete the main construction works, while the installation and testing of motion control systems and other precision transport systems will be carried out by a Russian contractor,” - Bochkarev said.
