The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) jointly with ANAS, a leading Italian company in the road management, and Russian state enterprise Avtodor, announced the establishment of a consortium for the development of Russian road infrastructure.
The corresponding agreement has been signed today during an official visit of Italian Prime Minister, Paolo Gentiloni, to Russia.
As a joint pilot project, the parties have chosen investments in a project for the complex development of M-4 “Don” federal motorway implemented by the Russian Direct Investment Fund within the infrastructure partnership with Avtodor.
In addition to providing financing for the project and motorway operation, ANAS will act as a supplier of high-tech equipment for the arrangement of a comprehensive system of traffic management at the motorway’s section.
