Russia's Foreign Trade Bank (VTB) has sold its mansion of Colloredo-Mansfeld located in the center of Vienna, which has been housing the bank’s European headquarters over the course of the last 20 years.
According to the Austrian business magazine Gewinn, the mansion was sold for 45 million euro to Nemat Farrokhnia, a Vienna real estate investor. The investor also co-owns another Palace in the other part of the street, the interior of which is currently being reconstructed from offices to luxury apartments.
The mansion was built in the style of Viennese neo-Renaissance in 1865 by an architect Johann Romano von Ringe as a residence of the princely family of Colloredo-Mansfeld.
