The construction of Mercedes-Benz plant in Moscow region will start in the second half of June and will last for 18 months, Governor of the Moscow region Andrey Vorobyov said in an interview with Russia 24 TV channel.
“An investment contract has really been signed with Mercedes, and on June 20, Mercedes proceeds with the plant construction. We are invited to attend an official ground-breaking ceremony. The plant is expected to be built over the course of 18 months,” Andrey Vorobyov said.
As it was reported earlier, the ground-breaking ceremony would be held in the territory of Yesipovo industrial park located in the Solnechnogorsky district of the Moscow region.
