Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade has approved the plant construction project, submitted by a German investor. The projected facility will manufacture Mercedes-Benz automobiles in the Moscow region.
According to the local media, the project has been introduced into consideration to the authorities of the Moscow region.
In case the positive decision is taken, the new Mercedes-Benz automobile manufacture will be located in the “Yesipovo” Solnechnogorsk industrial park.
Special investment contract envisages the production of 25,000 cars annually. It might be realized by a joint enterprise of Daimler and KAMAZ. The industrial park in the Moscow region will be put into operation in 2017.
