Italian companies intend to take part in construction of a high-speed main railway connecting the Russian cities of Chelyabinsk and Yekaterinburg.
As Constrcution.RU was told on Wednesday by the press office of the Transport Ministry of Russia, the parties have agreed to consider such partnership at a session of the working group on transport within the Russia-Italy Council for Economic, Industrial and Financial Cooperation.
Also, Italian investors have got interested in regional projects of road industry to be implemented on the basis of public and private partnership with the participation of federal budget.
The parties will continue cooperation within the framework of the Russian-Italian working group on the implementation of a project for Moscow – Kazan high-speed railway construction, as well as other projects in the field of railway transport.
